| Bio: |  My name is Tracey, and i'm 29, mom to three, and married to the best guy on the planet. Life is good here, and it seems like there's always a new adventure on the horizon for us. I try to keep a positive attitude about life, but that does not mean you won't find my fair share of bitching, being bummed out, and general blahs here sometimes. I find always-perky people to be a wee bit disturbing. Real life happens here, and let's face it, real life isn't always pretty. I do not have a prescribed parenting style. I just kinda work out what works for us and go with it. None of my children have been, or will be, raised quite the same way. Sure, there are standards i strive to keep, but i feel like every child is different, and therefore, i cannot expect a single parenting method to work with all of them. I had my son at age 15, and i still worked a full time job while finishing high school, with help from my mom and aunt. My parenting skills were limited with him, and i have evolved a great deal since then. Hence, i've formula fed, but i have evolved into a breastfeeding goddess with my daughters. I co-sleep, babywear, and find myself coming across nifty things that i incorporate into my lifestyle as i go along. I don't judge or condemn for the way people choose to live their lives. I am tolerant of most lifestyles. Just because i don't understand something doesn't mean it's not a perfectly valid way of doing things. I appreciate the same respect in return. I have a lot of hobbies or, probably more correctly called 'things i like to indulge in when i have a spare 10 minutes'. I love to read, play video games, be crafty (crochet, bead, work with polymer clay, and more), blog, watch tv and movies (but who doesn't), listen to music and audiobooks, work with graphics. There's really too much to list. I live in the land of the uninspired, the averagely normal. If i want something unique or special in my life, i have to come to the internet. Most of my friends are on the internet and they are all unique and special to me. I form a personal relationship with the people on my friends page, i make really long comments sometimes. I try to comment often, but my commenting has been cut down a bit by the fact that my 2nd daughter demands a great deal of my time, as she's just a baby. It'll go back to normal someday soon i am sure. I take care of my mom, who has a seizure disorder and short term memory loss. I talk a lot about her. I also talk a lot about my sister, and our incredibly dysfunctional relationship. It's more like bitching, ranting, getting anger off my chest. Whatever. Anyhow, i don't do LJ drama, but i have a fair amount of real life drama going on. I also will complain about my incredibly selfish in-laws, and how they irk me to no good end. What you will see in my LJ: -About my family & everyday life. -A lot of pictures. -Tales of our family adventures. -Bitching/rants/venting about various family members or friends in RL. -Anecdotes and cute stories about my children and their general oddness. -And much more! What you will NOT see much of in my LJ: -Bitching about my husband/marriage. We don't fight or argue much at all. Unless he puts paper plates in the sink. -Politics. Sometimes i'll write something, then decide to put it private, as i realize it's not a great subject. -Religion. Unless i'm making a funny. Please don't take offense, i'm not religious and i can find something humourous about almost anything. -I'm sure there's more. But i can't think of much.
